Bleak, brutal, and impressive. Isolated Domain is a dystopian sci-fi novel with a grim atmosphere, great world-building, and some impressive action. The world of the future in this book is pretty bleak and brutal. I loved the character of Hare, who isn’t really a hero, but that’s more because of the surroundings which shaped him. The author does a great job with his character, creating someone that we like and don’t like at the same time, but also understanding his motivations. Pair that with an immersive and slightly depressing world and a dynamic plot, and you have one great read. Highly recommended!
Hare takes on a risky score to escape Dystopian poverty in Isolated Domain. When his partner betrays him, he must embark on a hellish chase for his own life. Recommended!
